Position: Classroom English Teacher 
Start Date: Term 4 Week 1
Contract Duration: Until the end of the 2026 school year with the possibility of extension into 2027
Mode: Online delivery from a Department of Education site

We are seeking a teacher with approval to teach English to join our well-resourced faculty, consisting of 10 teachers. This position is within a selective high school environment, catering to high-potential and gifted students (HPG) across NSW, in an online setting.

The position’s focus is on delivering already developed content, differentiation, engagement, providing feedback, and documentation.

Consistency and continuity are essential in this role. We are seeking an individual who can establish strong routines and maintain high expectations that set students up for success.

Experience in online teaching and working with HPG learners is desirable but not essential. Equipment, support and training in online delivery tools and platforms will be provided before the commencement of lessons.

Aurora College is a Department of Education school. We teach 100% online to rural and remote selective students. We provide our casual and full-time staff with training to learn our processes—further information is available upon request.
