Temporary PDHPE Teacher (5-Day Block)
Position Duration: Monday, 21 September – Friday, 25 September 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PDHPE teacher to join our faculty for a five-day temporary teaching block from 21 September to 25 September 2026.
The successful applicant will teach a range of classes, including:
- Year 7 Physical Education
- Year 8 Physical Education
- Year 9 Physical Education
- Year 10 Physical Education
- Year 9 Sport
- Year 12 Community and Family Studies (CAFS)
The role requires a teacher who can deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, foster positive relationships with students, and maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. Lesson plans and teaching resources will be provided to ensure continuity of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PDHPE and Community and Family Studies lessons across Years 7–12.
- Promote student participation, wellbeing and engagement in practical and theoretical learning.
- Implement effective classroom and behaviour management strategies.
- Maintain a safe learning environment in accordance with school and departmental policies.
- Work collaboratively with the PDHPE faculty to ensure continuity of teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Current NESA accreditation.
- Approval to teach PDHPE, including Community and Family Studies (or willingness and capacity to teach CAFS).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
