About the Role

Our teachers play an integral role in delivering dynamic, innovative pedagogy that inspires and engages learners, promoting a positive culture of inclusiveness, personalisation and care. We are seeking a Secondary Engineering Teacher to join our College. This is a full-time role, on a permanent/ongoing contract, starting Term One 2026.

Following the introduction of this subject and the opening of our state-of-the-art Engineering rooms, we are looking for a General Engineering teacher who is passionate, innovative and collaborative. Preference for applicants who can also teach Physics and Maths Methods or Specialist Maths.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Promote the mission and ethos of the College through active classroom participation and by modelling appropriate standards of behaviour.
• Maintain a positive and effective learning environment through well-prepared and varied lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
• Set a challenging and realistic program of student homework.
• Provide prompt and thorough feedback on student work submitted for marking and supervision.

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
• Current Queensland Teacher Registration or provisional registration.
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
