The Opportunity
We are seeking Faculty Leaders to provide curriculum and pedagogical leadership within their assigned faculty area, working in collaboration with the Chief Learning Officer and Heads of Secondary. This role commences in 2026 and is responsible for leading the planning, documentation, and implementation of high-quality, data-driven curriculum and assessment practices across year levels in their subject group. The Faculty Leader ensures alignment with ICB’s academic standards, the College’s Islamic ethos, and state and national curriculum requirements. This is a position of added responsibility, undertaken alongside classroom teaching duties.

Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualification in Education and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
Demonstrated experience in curriculum leadership and teaching across Years 7–12
Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA frameworks
Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and support staff
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to Islamic values and the mission of the College
