We are seeking experienced Teacher Aides to join our Secondary School at the Islamic College of Brisbane in 2026.

The incumbent will have experience as a Teacher Aide and a genuine passion in working collaboratively with Teachers and supporting Secondary School students in their learning and daily activities.  

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Diploma qualified or studying towards a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification or experience

• Experience in working with children essential

• Experience with Special Education/ Education Support an advantage

• Demonstrate a genuine commitment to the College's values, philosophy, and Islamic ethos and to preserve its traditions, while also articulating an appropriate vision for the future

• The ability to promote a positive and supportive learning environment for students where all are challenged and motivated to reach their learning goals

• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers, parents, and external professionals

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team

• Strong planning and organisational skills

• Must hold a current Blue Card.
