Mount St Patrick College, Murwillumbah

Applications are invited from young adults who have completed Year 12 in recent years and who have a strong interest in supporting (Sport) at Mount St Patrick College. This is a 12-month position to support these pursuits of students and staff who organise them in the College.

Trainee: Sport

The Trainee will work closely with the Leader of Sport in helping to provide learning opportunities for students at the school. The successful applicant will be expected to provide support to staff and students in organising sporting activities and attending sporting events.

Applicants must: 

• have a current NSW Working with Children Check
• compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Applicants will be required to: 

• be an active and visible member of the Catholic Church community
• committ to the Catholic Community’s ethics, values and standards
• be self-motivated, organised, creative, trustworthy, committed and able to motivate youth
• have excellent communication skills, and personal initiative
• be able to recognise and maintain confidentiality

Your application should address the above criteria including the nomination of two (2) referees including a Parish Priest, Priest or Minister.

Also any sporting and fitness interests and experience in coaching and organising sport.
