We are looking for a teacher to join the beautiful Home Economics faculty at The Jannali High School

This is a 0.8 position (fours days per week: Mondays to Thursdays) from Monday 12^th October 2026 to Wednesday 27^th January 2027 (Term 4, 2026). There is the opportunity for additional casual work on Fridays (if desired). The role involves teaching primarily Stage 4–5 Home Economics with some Year 11 Food Technology and Community & Family Studies (CAFS) classes.

For the right candidate, we would also be happy to support:

• a pre-service teacher with their teaching approval
• a pre-service teacher completing their final placement/internship
• a teacher who is not Home Economics trained but has transferable skills, experience and the capacity to teach across these courses.

There is also the opportunity for the successful applicant to commence in the Home Economics faculty during Term 3, should they be available and wish to do so, prior to the advertised Term 4 position.

There will also be the possibility of future work in 2027.
