Talent Focus is recruiting for a Secondary English/Mathematics Teacher based in Brisbane South, working within a supportive and student-centred learning environment focused on young people with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.

About the Role
In this role, you will deliver engaging and accessible learning programs in English and/or Mathematics, while supporting students through tailored academic and wellbeing approaches. You will work closely with a collaborative multidisciplinary team to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their personal best.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging English and/or Mathematics lessons

Supporting students with diverse learning needs and educational backgrounds

Contributing to student wellbeing and engagement programs

Assisting students with vocational and post-school pathway planning

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and youth workers

Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Differentiating learning to meet individual student needs

About You
We are seeking a committed and compassionate educator who is passionate about supporting students who may be at risk or require additional learning support.
You will have:

Relevant teaching qualification and current QCT registration

Strong capability in teaching English and/or Mathematics
-
Experience working with diverse or at-risk learner cohorts (highly regarded)

Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

A flexible, collaborative, and student-focused approach

Additional subject areas (PDHPE, Creative Arts, etc.) viewed favourably
