Educational Lesson Reviewer (K-12 - All subjects)

Position Overview

We’re posting this opportunity on behalf of one of our trusted education partners. They’re seeking an eagle eyed, detail-oriented person with some real life teaching experience to join their lesson review team. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn some real money before the Christmas break all while working remotely.

Key Details

• Position Type: Independent Contractor (You will need an ABN, Free to obtain)
• Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week, more available for the right candidates
• Rate: $45 per hour
• Location: Work from home
• Teaching focus: All grades K-12 and all Subjects may apply
• Duration: Starting ASAP through to Christmas

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess educational lesson content against a rubric of checks
• Follow detailed processes and quality assurance procedures
• Work collaboratively with a team of lesson reviewers
• Maintain clear documentation and provide feedback on materials
• Meet deadlines while ensuring high standards

Essential Requirements

• Teaching Experience: Demonstrated background in education or training (classroom, tutoring, curriculum development, or similar)
• Technical Confidence: Strong baseline computer skills and comfort learning new systems (full training on our specific tools will be provided)
• Process-Oriented: Ability to follow detailed procedures accurately and consistently
• Detail focussed: This role will require a lot of reading, you need to be able to spot the tiny details.
• Availability: Minimum 35 hours per week from now through Christmas
• ABN: Must hold or be willing to obtain an Australian Business Number
• Home Office: Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for remote work

Contractor Arrangement

This is an independent contractor position. You will be:

• Invoicing for your hours worked, we understand that this can change week on week
• Responsible for your own tax obligations including GST (if applicable)
• Required to maintain your own insurances as appropriate
• Not entitled to employee benefits such as leave or superannuation
