St George Preca School is seeking a qualified teacher for a Year 4 classroom teaching position.
This fixed-term contract is for the remainder of the 2025 school year, with the possibility of
the position being available beyond the end of 2025. Experienced teachers as well as
graduate teachers are welcome to apply.

The 2025 enrolment is approx. 725 students from Prep to Grade 6.
We are seeking a teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for
the benefit of the students in their care.

teach effectively to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all

use data to inform teaching
high-quality teaching practices in Literacy, Numeracy, Religious Education or Inquiry
learning
have the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning
demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and
teaching
demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents, and students
be committed to personal and professional growth
have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T.
preferably have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
