Early Years Special Options Teacher – Term 4 Contract (2026)

Clovelly Park Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate teacher to join our Early Years Special Options team for a full-time Term 4 contract in 2026, replacing a teacher on leave.

This is a rewarding opportunity to teach a small class of eight students in a highly supportive and well-resourced environment. The successful applicant will work alongside two full-time School Support Officers and a wonderful, collaborative staff team.

All students are supported through individualised learning programs. We are seeking a teacher who can provide engaging, responsive teaching and create a safe, inclusive classroom where every student is known, valued and supported to make progress.

Experience teaching in a Special Options setting, or substantial experience supporting students with additional needs, is essential. Experience working with students with complex communication, sensory, regulation and learning needs will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• A strong understanding of differentiated and individualised teaching and learning
• The ability to develop, implement and review One Plans and personalised learning programs
• Experience working collaboratively with School Support Officers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive partnerships with families
• A collaborative approach to working with Student Support Services and external providers, including allied health professionals
• A calm, flexible and strengths-based approach to supporting student wellbeing, engagement and behaviour
