Billabong High School is a rural comprehensive high school in the Greater Hume Shire, between Albury and Wagga Wagga, with approximately 320 students. Located on Wiradjuri land, 11% of students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Students travel from surrounding townships, and the school works closely with its community to deliver high-quality educational outcomes. School priorities include excellence, literacy and numeracy growth, collaborative practice, and an inclusive, positive culture supporting student and staff wellbeing. Students access high-quality facilities and diverse opportunities across academics, sport, agriculture, creative and performing arts, debating and public speaking. Strong community partnerships support pathways to further study and employment, while citizenship is fostered through volunteering and participation in community events.
