North Coast Pathway is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Casual School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) to join our team.

As an SLSO, you will work alongside teachers to support young people with diverse learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs within our Special Assistance School. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role includes:

• Supporting students in the classroom and during learning activities.

• Assisting students to engage positively in their education.

• Promoting student wellbeing and positive behaviour.

• Providing individual and small group support as directed by teaching staff.

• Supervising students during breaks and school activities when required.

We are looking for people who are:

• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable.

• Excellent communicators who work well in a team.

• Passionate about supporting young people to achieve success.

• Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

SLSO qualification and experience working with young people, disability support, education, youth work, or community services is desirable but not essential.
