They have a diverse, multicultural community with 25% of students born in a
country other than Australia, and 0.6% of students identify as Aboriginal or
Torres Strait Islander. The school has three multi-categorical support classes
that provide a specialised setting for students with moderate to high learning
and support needs.

About the role
We
seek a passionate and dedicated Support Class teacher who is committed to
achieving exceptional learning outcomes for students. The ideal candidate will
take initiative, possess a curious mindset, and consistently focus on improving
the educational experience for all learners. The successful applicant will be a
collaborative team player, actively engaging in stage and whole-school
programs, and demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering collective
efficacy throughout the school community.
Selection Criteria
1.
Approval to teach K-6, experience and willingness
to teach students with Autism, mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, and
complex behaviours.
2. Experience
and commitment to programming and planning to integrate Learning and Support
Plans, with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
3. Demonstrate
strong classroom management skills with a collaborative approach to supporting
students learning, fostering positive and effective relationships with all
stakeholders.
Who can Apply
Teachers
who have current approval to teach Primary (K-6) in NSW with relevant teaching
experience and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
