We are currently accepting applications for casual SLSOs to join our relief support pool via ClassCover. Successful applicants will be added to our regular booking list for casual SLSOs.

Role Overview:
As a Casual SLSO, you’ll work across school environments from preschool to Year 6, providing vital support to children and students with disability and diverse, complex needs. You’ll assist educators and teachers to help every child reach their educational, developmental, and social goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for children and students with physical, sensory, intellectual, or behavioural needs.
• Assist with play-based learning activities in preschool settings.
• Support safety, movement, and personal care routines as required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, preschool educators, specialists, and other staff.
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment across preschool and school settings.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience or interest in supporting children and students with complex needs.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and settings.
• Strong communication and empathy skills.
• Ability to follow directions and adhere to school and preschool policies.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
