Sport Teacher – Muswellbrook

Educ8Sports specialises in the delivery of PDHPE and sports programs to primary schools across NSW.
We are currently seeking a qualified teacher to join our team for an ongoing position in Muswellbrook every Friday throughout 2026.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher looking for consistent weekly work outside of the traditional classroom environment while still working directly with primary school students.
The Role
You will work as part of the Educ8Sports team delivering structured and engaging PDHPE and sports programs to primary school students (K–6).
All programming, lesson structures, sports equipment and resources are provided by Educ8Sports.
The position includes:
- Ongoing work every Friday throughout 2026
- Paid at the DET casual teacher rate
- Transport to and from Muswellbrook provided
- All programming and lesson resources provided
- All sports equipment provided
- Support from the Educ8Sports management and teaching team
- Opportunity for additional work across our other school and holiday programs
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current NESA accreditation and DET Number
- Current NSW Department of Education approval to teach
- Current Working With Children Check
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- An interest and/or background in sport and PDHPE
- A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications
Applicants must hold, or be completing the requirements for, an appropriate teaching qualification and be eligible to teach within NSW Department of Education schools.
