S.A.M Gordon centre is seeking passionate and dedicated writing teachers who believe that strong writing can be taught through structured guidance, thoughtful feedback, and meaningful practice.
Our program focuses on helping students develop:

Teachers are supported by a structured curriculum including the IDEA Writing Method, writing portfolios, and a feedback system that encourages student growth through drafting and rewriting.
Responsibilities
• Teach writing classes for primary and junior secondary students
• Guide students through brainstorming, planning, drafting and rewriting
• Provide clear and constructive feedback on student writing
• Support students in developing ideas, structure, and language
• Encourage students to improve their writing through revision
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for teachers who:
• Enjoy teaching writing and language
• Believe writing skills can be developed through structured guidance
• Are patient and supportive with young learners
• Can give clear and practical feedback on student writing
• Value student improvement rather than simply completing tasks
Preferred Qualifications
• School English teacher experience OR strong writing background
• Experience teaching writing or literacy skills
• Strong understanding of paragraph structure and writing development
• Ability to guide students through brainstorming and planning
