Temporary Mathematics Teacher – Expression of Interest

Auburn Girls High School is seeking a passionate and committed full-time temporary Mathematics teacher for the period from Week 8 (Monday 16 March) to the end of Term 1, with the potential for extension until the end of the year.

Applicants are invited to submit a one-page Expression of Interest addressing the selection criteria below. Please also include the details of two referees, one of whom must be your current or most recent supervisor.

Selection Criteria

• Approval to teach Mathematics (7–12)

• Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a Mathematics faculty to develop effective and engaging teaching and learning programs for a diverse range of learners

• Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to plan and deliver differentiated teaching and learning programs that maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students
