About You — Phonics Teacher
We are looking for passionate Early Years educators to teach small-group phonics classes.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
✔ At least 2 years’ experience teaching 5–8-year-old students
✔ Strong understanding of phonics systems (THRASS knowledge highly regarded)
✔ Ability to teach decoding, segmenting, blending and reading strategies
✔ Positive classroom presence — warm, playful, patient and engaging
✔ Understanding of the Australian Primary Curriculum (K–2)
✔ Classroom management skills suitable for online young learners
✔ A growth mindset — quick learner, willing to take feedback
✔ Excellent communication with children and families
✔ Preferably experience teaching online and familiarity with the ClassIn platform
📌 Preferred qualifications:
NESA-accredited teacher, current or retired, specialising in early literacy.
About You — Writing Teacher
We are seeking an experienced literacy educator to deliver writing, grammar and public speaking programs for primary students (Years 2–6).
To succeed in this role, you will have:
✔ A minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience in English/Writing
✔ Strong personal writing ability — able to model high-quality language
✔ Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum for literacy
✔ Knowledge of major competitive assessment frameworks, including:
▪ ICAS Writing
▪ NAPLAN Persuasive/Narrative Writing
▪ NSW Selective School English / Reading criteria
✔ Ability to analyse student writing and give actionable, detailed feedback
✔ Experience engaging parents in communication about learning progress
✔ Creative and flexible teaching style—able to adapt lessons to student needs
📌 Preferred qualifications:
NESA-accredited English or primary teacher with experience in intervention and enrichment settings.
