Job Summary

Forest Lodge Public School is an inner city public school with a student population of 320 students. Forest Lodge Public School is a high performing academic school with a wide range of creative and performing arts initiatives including a K-6 specialist music teacher and extensive preforming arts enrichment opportunities. This temporary contract opportunity is for a specialist Physical Education (PE) and Sport RFF role (0.8) and executive release (0.2). You will join a strong, collaborative team dedicated to enriching our learning culture and school ecosystem.


  1. Proven expertise in planning and delivering evidence-based physical education and sport programs that cater to diverse learner needs, resulting in measurable improvements in student engagement and physical literacy.
  2. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth through reflective practice, including analysing teaching effectiveness, seeking feedback, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in student learning outcomes.
  3. Strong ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, families, and community members, actively incorporating student voice to enhance learning experiences and support wellbeing.
  4. Evidenced enthusiasm and a proactive approach to contributing beyond the classroom by supporting school initiatives, enrichment activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.


We are looking for a professional, committed, and confident teacher with experience in obtaining excellent learning outcomes for their students. The successful applicant will be dedicated to ongoing professional learning, positive student wellbeing approaches and display the ability to take initiative.
