Job Summary
Contract: 27/01/2026 - 17/12/2026. This will become a permanent position for the right applicant.
Total Remuneration Package: Total annual remuneration
package valued at up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to
$133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base
salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.
Position information:
We require a teacher with the capacity to deliver digital
media and ICT subjects. The teaching load could include Computing Technology, Software
Engineering, Multimedia, Graphics Technology and iSTEM subjects, depending on
expertise. It is not essential for the successful applicant to
have NSW Department of Education teaching codes for these subjects.
At Kelso High Campus we implement a comprehensive program to
support early career teachers, so university students with NSW Department of
Education Interim Approval to Teach are also encouraged to apply. It may
be possible to negotiate part-time work.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant must hold, or be in the process of
obtaining, NSW Department of Education approval to teach in NSW public schools.

The selection process involves:
- submission
of a current resume with contact details for two school-based referees who
are familiar with, and able to discuss, your abilities and suitability for
this position. One of your referees must be your current/most recent
supervisor.
- submission
of a written application addressing the specific selection criteria below
(maximum of two pages)
- verbal
referee reports and
- an
informal interview (if required).
Specific Selection Criteria:
- Capacity
to deliver digital media and ICT based subjects to students with diverse
learning needs in NSW secondary schools. Please include details of
relevant qualifications, experience and expertise. It is not essential
for the successful applicant to have NSW Department of Education teaching
codes for this subject.
- Well-developed
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish
positive working relationships with students, staff and parents to improve
student learning outcomes
