About the role
Gulyangarri Public School opened
at the beginning of 2024. It is a Preschool to Year 6 school located adjacent
to Liverpool Boys and Liverpool Girls High Schools in the Liverpool CBD. Current
enrolment is 340 including 5 Aboriginal students and 86% of students from
language backgrounds other than English.
The school’s name comes from
Darug language and translates to children in English. The word gulyangarri
highlights the importance of children being at the centre of all that we do.
There are two positions
available. Both roles are for a teacher to work across the school to support
the implementation of targeted programs and provide teacher release.
The temporary positions start at
the beginning of Term 4, Monday
13 October 2025, until the end of Term 4 2025, Friday 19 December 2025.
