We are a Preschool - Year 6 Public School. We open from 8:am - 2:30pm. Morning duty starts at 8:00am, classes start from 8:35am, and finish at 2:30pm. We have no afternoon duty for casual staff. Our 2 unit preschool opens in Term 4, 2024. Gulyangarri Public School opened at the beginning of 2024. We are enrolling new students regularly, and staff are flexible and adapt to changes that occur as we are a new school. We have a high number of students who have recently arrived in Australia, and are learning English. Many of our students are bilingual or multi-lingual, speaking a language other than English at home. We are situated on the Cnr of Lachlan Street and Burnside Dr Liverpool, adjacent to Liverpool Boys High School and the Liverpool hospital carpark. We are a short walk from Warwick Farm Train Station, and we also have a staff carpark which you can enter from Lachlan Street. Press the admin button, say your name and that you are a casual staff member and the gates will be opened. Park on the right hand side, rear to kerb. Gulyangarri Public School draws its name from the Darug language spoken by the Cabrogal Clan. The word gulyangarri translates to children in English. It was chosen to reflect the importance of children being at the centre of all that we do.
