About the Role – Maths/Science Focus
We’re looking for dynamic teachers with a background in Mathematics
and/or Science to deliver engaging, flexible programs tailored to students with
diverse learning needs. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver core curriculum
content in creative and practical ways, with wellbeing embedded throughout your
teaching practice.
You will:
- Teach
across Stages 5–6 with a focus on Maths and/or Science
- Design
and deliver lessons that meet curriculum outcomes and student interests
- Build
strong relationships with students through person-centred approaches
- Implement
inclusive and trauma-informed practices in the classroom
- Contribute
to cross-disciplinary projects and curriculum development
- Participate
in school events and collaborative team meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor
or Diploma of Education
- NESA
Accreditation (Conditional, Provisional, or Proficient)
- Experience
or confidence teaching Stage 5/6 Maths and/or Science
- Valid
Working With Children Check & willingness to obtain National Police
Check
- Child
Protection Training (or willingness to complete)
- Current
Driver’s Licence
- Adaptability,
compassion, and a commitment to inclusive education
- Enthusiasm
for working in flexible, wellbeing-focused settings
