Contract Duration: Until the end of the 2025 academic year

About the Role:
Bankstown Girls High School is seeking a dedicated and qualified Learning Support and EAL/D teacher to join our supportive and collaborative staff team. The successful applicant will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences for students with additional learning needs, including those from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement targeted support programs.

• Deliver EAL/D strategies in-class and through withdrawal sessions.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate learning.

• Develop and monitor Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).

• Track student progress and contribute to student wellbeing and engagement.

Essential Requirements:

• Approval to teach in NSW public schools.

• Qualifications and/or experience in Learning Support and EAL/D.

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Commitment to inclusive, equitable education for all students.
