Part-Time Science Teacher (0.6 FTE - Tu, W, Th)

Newtown High School of the Performing Arts is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Science teacher to join our team. Teaching load includes Year 8, 9 and 10 Science classes. 

As a vibrant inner-city school, we foster a dynamic learning environment where students excel in the Performing Arts and are deeply engaged in their academic studies.

Selection Criteria:

• Approval to teach Science (7-10)
• Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
