Full-Time English Teacher – Newtown High School of the Performing Arts

Newtown High School of the Performing Arts is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time English teacher to join our team for Terms 2, 3 & 4. As a vibrant inner-city school, we foster a dynamic learning environment where students excel in the Performing Arts and are deeply engaged in their academic studies.

Selection Criteria:

• Approval to teach English (7-12) and English Extension 1 and 2.
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with teachers, students, parents and the community.
• Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
