Position: Secondary English Teacher – NSW Schools
Location: NSW – Various Prestigious Independent & Catholic Schools
Start Date: Term 3 / Term 4 or by negotiation
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Permanent and Contract Roles Available)

We are seeking passionate and experienced English Teachers to join leading Independent and Catholic schools across New South Wales. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with NSW curriculum standards
Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and high achievement
Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
Collaborate with faculty to support student learning and school initiatives
Actively contribute to co-curricular and pastoral care programs

Requirements:

Relevant teaching qualifications in English
Current NESA accreditation (or eligibility to obtain)
Working with Children Check (valid for employment in NSW)
Proven experience teaching secondary English in a school setting
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Preferred:

Experience in HSC English (Standard, Advanced, Extension)
Familiarity with independent or high-performing school environments
A passion for literature and writing, and commitment to continuous professional development
