We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mathematics and Science teacher to provide one-on-one instruction for a Year 10 student undertaking home-schooling in NSW. 

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, structured lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum, ensuring the student’s academic progress and confidence in Mathematics and Science.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver personalised Year 10 Mathematics and Science lessons.

Align teaching with the NSW curriculum.

Assess the student’s progress and provide regular feedback.

Adapt teaching methods to suit the student’s learning style.

Prepare the student for assessments and exams.

Essential Criteria:

Current accreditation with NESA (Proficient Teacher status or above).

Experience teaching Year 10 Mathematics (essential) and Science (desirable).

Ability to tailor lessons for individual learning needs.

 A valid NSW Working with Children Check.

Benefits:

Competitive pay - Casual Teacher Rate 3 and above (based on experience) 

Flexible working hours - ideally looking for one day a week (split over two days) during the NSW school term. 

Open to working with the successful candidate’s availability. Hours will need to be between 9am and 3:30pm (Monday - Friday). 

Provision of online teaching tools and all required NSW Department of Education teaching materials.

Dedicated classroom space with all required resources available.
