Job Summary
Secondary Mathematics Teacher (Contract)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and
experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher. This is a contract teaching position
with an initial period of four (4) weeks, with the possibility of an extension
until the end of Term 1 2025. Please note that applications for this role may be

St Benedict’s College is a
co-educational Years 7-12 College owned and administered by Brisbane Catholic
Education (BCE). The College is situated in Mango Hill, 30km north of the Brisbane
CBD. Our enrolment is approximately 1020 students and continues to grow. The
College takes its name from St Benedict, and we have adopted the Benedictine
charism of “Service, Balance, and Community” as our College Values. The College.

About the Role.
As a dynamic and innovative member of

About the Candidate.
To be successful in this role you
will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in
Mathematics Teaching as well as:

Demonstrate
literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy practices.
·
Demonstrate
understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA Syllabuses.
·
Demonstrate
practice aligned to Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST).

exemplary communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
·
Engage
with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve positive outcomes.
Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) teachers
must:

Hold
current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
·
Be
eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
·
Have
a commitment to Safeguarding and demonstrate completion of, and compliance
with, Brisbane Catholic Education mandatory training.
