Expressions of interest are invited from teachers interested in a career opportunity relieving in the position of Mandarin Teacher for an immediate start until to 8th August 2025. 

This role is a 1 day a week position, located at: Rouse Hill Public School, Clower Avenue, Rouse Hill NSW 2155

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Rouse Hill Public School, with a current enrollment of 1100 students, is one of 4 Bilingual Public Schools operating in NSW. 

All students at Rouse Hill Public School are given the opportunity to learn Mandarin weekly through the delivery of weekly Mandarin Literacy and CAPA lessons. 

With support from three other Mandarin education teachers and a supportive Deputy Principal, we welcome interested teachers to apply.

Selection criteria:

§ Approval to teach infants, primary and Community Language Chinese (Mandarin), with the capacity to engage and challenge students through high quality programs and differentiated teaching and learning strategies.

§ Ability to work collaboratively and collegially, with evidence of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills that build positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community.

§ Capacity to contribute to Chinese cultural experiences across the school.

One of the referees listed must be the applicant’s current principal or supervisor for non-school-based staff. 

Expressions of interest must not exceed 2 A4 pages and require the signature of the applicant’s current principal or supervisor.
