McAuley Catholic College is situated in Grafton on the North Coast of NSW, and provides a Catholic education to students of the Clarence Valley. Classroom and Learning Support / Teachers Aide and

Classroom Assistant

Part time temporary - 18 hours/week

 position commencing 3rd March 2025 for the remainder of the 2025 school year

Applicants must: 

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
   

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria: 

• a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
• preparedness to undergo further training in aiding children with special needs
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment
• maintain a safe, clean and organised classroom and order supplies when required
• ability to set up a classroom ready for lessons

Your application should address the above criteria including the nomination of two (2) referees including a Parish Priest, Priest or Minister.
