We’ve partnered with both the CSSA Trial Examinations and the NSW Independent Trial Exams to provide exclusive access to nearly 600 tests and 20,000 questions, all mapped to current NSW syllabuses. Our small yet dynamic team is committed to delivering secure, intuitive solutions that empower modern teaching and learning. As our School Success & Partnerships Lead, you’ll have real autonomy and play a critical role in ensuring that schools, teachers, and students get the most out of Gradeo’s platform.
The Role
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for schools—leading demos, delivering professional learning sessions, and providing first-rate onboarding support. You’ll collaborate closely with content providers to ensure our processes reflect the real-school environment and maintain the highest quality for high-stakes exam resources. You’ll also manage subcontractors working on data input and item creation, ensuring new syllabuses and curriculum updates are rolled out seamlessly.
Reporting to the founder, you’ll take initiative, drive sales and training, and influence product innovation, helping shape our product roadmap to better serve the needs of schools. While this role begins remotely, we plan to transition to a Sydney CBD office in the near future. Key Responsibilities
School Relationship Management
- Be the primary point of contact for schools, proactively building and nurturing relationships with principals, teachers, and coordinators.
- Conduct site visits (valid driver’s licence required) to provide on-the-ground support and gather real-world feedback.
- Deliver professional learning workshops, training sessions and content to help educators maximise Gradeo’s AI-powered features and syllabus-aligned assessments.
Onboarding & User Enablement
- Lead product demonstrations, induction sessions, and ongoing training for teachers, students, and administrators.
- Create and maintain clear, user-friendly guides and FAQs, ensuring professional learning resources reflect the latest platform updates.
- Offer responsive, empathetic support to schools, addressing queries or issues swiftly and effectively.
Content & Quality Assurance
- Oversee and where necessary assist with data input, past paper management, and creation of new assessment items.
- Coordinate rollout of new syllabuses/ courses on the platform, structuring them in the platform for effortless adoption by teachers.
User Experience & Feedback
- Act as the voice of the school community, collecting user feedback to identify pain points and areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with the founder to prioritise feature requests and integrate user insights into the product roadmap.
- Champion a user-centred approach, ensuring ongoing improvements reflect genuine classroom needs.
Business Development & Communications
- Contribute to sales and pipeline development, showcasing Gradeo’s unique value to prospective school partners and stakeholders.
- Engage in social media and marketing initiatives (e.g. producing tiles/posts) to promote success stories and new features.
- Represent Gradeo at educational events, conferences, and networking functions to drive brand awareness and growth.
Technology & Process Improvement
- Embrace a tech-forward mindset, remaining familiar with the platform’s features.
- Suggest and implement process improvements that streamline onboarding, account management, and general school support.
- Track usage data and metrics to inform strategic decisions on resource allocation and product enhancements.
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Maintain a current Working With Children Check (or be prepared to obtain one prior to commencement), ensuring child safety standards are upheld.
- Support relevant privacy and compliance protocols, contributing to safer technology environments for students and schools.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay current with secondary education, assessment trends, curriculum requirements (and the structure of syllabuses), and exam marking standards—teaching experience (or exam committee experience) is highly desirable.
- Identify opportunities for innovative features or partnerships, including additional AI enhancements, new content providers, and cross-platform integrations.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and quality, ensuring schools receive the highest value possible from Gradeo.
About You
- School Experience (Highly Desirable): Secondary school teaching experience, particularly in high-stakes exam settings or exam committee marking is highly desirable.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable demonstrating digital tools and AI-powered features; edtech experience.
- Communication & Presentation: Adept at delivering professional learning sessions and articulating complex information to diverse audiences.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at fostering trust and confidence in school communities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Organised & Detail-Focused: Able to juggle multiple tasks—from data quality checks to managing a team—while maintaining high standards.
- Adaptable & Self-Driven: Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, responding to evolving priorities with agility and creativity.
- Compliance & Mobility: Holds (or can obtain) a current Working With Children Check, plus a valid driver’s licence for school-site visits.
- Team-Oriented: Collaborates seamlessly with internal teams (product, leadership, tech) to push the platform’s capabilities forward.
