About the Position
Hartford College is seeking a full-time fixed term (12 months) Teacher to teach Science from years 7-9 with an ability to teach across other subject areas. The position will have scope for growth and will be instrumental in developing programs. The role will commence Term 1, 2025.
Selection Criteria
•Appropriate experience for teaching Science from Years 7-10.
•A current WWCC along with NESA proficient qualification status
•Capacity to differentiate curriculum and assessment to meet individual learning needs
•Ability to scaffold activities to facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities
•Demonstrated ability to act with and foster collaboration and effective teamwork
•Exceptional organisational, administrative and interpersonal communication skills
•Demonstrated knowledge of, adherence to, and leadership for child safety, the Child Safe Standards and an exceptional culture of child safety
•Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires self-direction, team-orientation and the ability to effectively handle pressure
•Ability to develop, cultivate and maintain professional relationships with colleagues in the wider school community.
•Ability to participate in the life of Hartford College, including school and community events.
•A commitment to the Catholic ethos, and an appreciation of a liberal arts curriculum.
•If a non-resident, holder of a current Australian working visa not requiring sponsorship.
