Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and organized Part-Time Administrator to support our team at I Can Read Macquarie Park. As the center’s administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, from managing scheduling and bookings to handling inquiries from parents. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and efficient environment for our students, teachers, and families.
Responsibilities:
- Greet parents, students, and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Manage class scheduling and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Handle phone and email inquiries professionally, providing information on programs, class schedules, and fees.
- Process registrations, payments, and maintain updated records of student accounts.
- Support teachers by preparing classroom materials and assisting with organizational tasks as needed.
- Ensure the center is clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with center events, such as open houses and parent meetings, as required.
Working Time:
- Weekdays (During School Terms): 9 am to 6:30 pm
- Weekends: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm
- School Holidays (Weekdays Only): 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Please note that flexibility to work on weekends and during school holidays is required.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in supporting children’s education.
