Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) to join our team this term for 3 days a week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in the delivery of educational programs tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
  • Support students in developing social skills and fostering positive peer relationships.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
