About the role

Join the collaborative team at St Scholastica's College as the Head of TAS (Technology and Applied Studies). This full-time position is located in Glebe from Term 1, 2025, and will see you play a vital role in leading and developing the TAS department.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the TAS department
  • Manage and mentor a team of TAS teaching professionals
  • Design and implement engaging, innovative and industry-relevant TAS curriculum
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant educational policies and regulations
  • Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration and student-centred learning
  • Participate actively in the broader school community and contribute to whole-school initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and extensive experience in the TAS subject area (Stage 6)
  • Proven track record in leading and developing a high-performing TAS department, including data analysis
  • Strong understanding of the latest teaching methodologies and TAS industry trends
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for fostering student engagement and supporting their holistic development
  • Commitment to continuous professional learning and improvement
