Job Summary

Marsden High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Term 4 and all of 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering engaging and innovative Mathematics lessons that inspire curiosity, while delivering engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum. This full time position offers the opportunity to work with students across various stages while contributing to a collaborative and supportive faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Mathematics to students across Stages 4 and 5, with potential to teach Stage 6.
  • Planning and preparing lessons in alignment with the NSW Mathematics curriculum.
  • Assessing and providing constructive feedback to support student learning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues on faculty initiatives and school programs.
  • Participating in professional development and school activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation to teach Mathematics in NSW.
  • Strong understanding of the NSW Mathematics curriculum.
  • Effective communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
