Pittwater High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in a part-time capacity (0.9 FTE). The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering engaging and innovative science lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for scientific inquiry. This role offers the opportunity to work with students across various stages while contributing to a collaborative and supportive faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching Science to students across Stages 4 and 5, with potential to teach Stage 6.
• Planning and preparing lessons in alignment with the NSW Science curriculum.
• Assessing and providing constructive feedback to support student learning.
• Collaborating with colleagues on faculty initiatives and school programs.
• Participating in professional development and school activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation to teach Science in NSW.
• Strong understanding of the NSW Science curriculum and inquiry-based learning.
• Effective communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
