The role of the College Youth Minister is to promote opportunities consistent with a Gospel way of life; Evangelisation, Discipleship and Witness. The successful applicant will be expected to minister to youth in accordance with the Youth Ministry Procedures.

College Youth Minister

Part-time temporary position for the 2025 school year

35 hours per week

An exciting opportunity to contribute to a new model as youth Ministry is re-envisioned in Catholic schools in the Diocese of Lismore.

 Work requirements: 

  • hold a valid clearance to work with children (NSW Working with Children Check)
  • have a minimum of 12 months experience working in youth ministry since graduating from high school.
  • understanding and adherence to protocols and policies established by the Australian Catholic National Committee for Professional Standards

 Qualifications:

  • Higher School Certificate
  • Training will be provided through the Certificate IV Leadership and Management course at John Henry Institute.
    • Enrolment and active engagement in this course is a condition of appointment
    • Time will be allocated for the completion of coursework during work hours

  • Remuneration is at Classroom Learning and Support Level 4.1 of the NSW and ACT Catholic Systemic School Enterprise Agreement (EA)
