Job Summary
Holy Saviour School is a small, family-oriented, independent Melkite Catholic primary school located in Greenacre, Sydney. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate classroom teacher to join our team for 2025 This will be a one year, full-time, temporary contract to cover a maternity leave position.
You will work in a warm, collaborative and well-resourced school with students who are happy and self-motivated learners. Our class sizes are small, and we pride ourselves on the nurturing environment provided for both students and our staff.

Primary Teacher
The successful applicant will:
- have effective interpersonal skills and be prepared to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- be familiar with current educational theory and best practice.
- be willing to undertake and implement professional learning and work with a mentor/coach.
- understand how to use assessment data to inform learning and teaching.
- have competence with the use of technologies to enhance learning.
- be familiar with the NSW Syllabus documents.
- be committed to upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.
- have NESA accreditation to teach and current WWCC.
Highly regarded:
- Familiarity with the Science of Reading
- Understanding of explicit instruction and the ‘Science of Learning’
