MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON

Full time (40hrs per week) temporary position until 26 January 2025

Applicants must:

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria: 

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
  
• Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
  
• Proven ability as an effective team member
• Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials and chemical supplies
• Experience in gardening/landscaping/horticulture an advantage
• Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour
• Ability to adhere to a maintenance schedule and follow directions
• Basic computer skills
