Experienced Art Teacher for Children (Ages 5–12) – Chatswood, Sydney
We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Art Teacher to join our growing team in Chatswood. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching art to children, a genuine love for nurturing creativity, and a commitment to providing high-quality, consistent instruction.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for children aged 5–12.
Teach a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sketching, acrylic painting, and craft activities.
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
Encourage creativity while developing fundamental artistic skills.
Assist with organizing and participating in student art exhibitions, holiday programs, and special events.
Requirements
Proven experience teaching art to children.
Strong knowledge of various art mediums and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with young learners.
Responsible, punctual, and professional.
Able to commit to a stable, long-term teaching position.
Relevant qualifications in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field are preferred.
Working rights in Australia.
Working Hours
Weekdays:2:45-5:00
Saturday: 10:30am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Additional hours may be available during school holiday programs.
