You may apply for one subject and your preferred year levels—you are not expected to teach all subjects or across all year levels.Applicants interested in senior secondary teaching should specify the Preliminary and HSC courses they have taught, including any English or Mathematics Extension courses.About the roleYou will deliver well-prepared lessons within your area of expertise, adapt your teaching to individual learning needs and provide constructive feedback. Responsibilities include identifying gaps in understanding, monitoring student progress and communicating relevant updates to the CamLoc team through our teaching portal.We are looking for teachers who balance encouragement with appropriate challenge, helping students understand how and why, rather than simply memorise answers or procedures.Essential requirementsRelevant teaching qualifications, current NESA teacher accreditation and classroom teaching experience.Strong knowledge of the NSW syllabus for your nominated subjects and year levels, with relevant Preliminary and HSC teaching experience for senior secondary roles.Appropriate Australian work rights, a current and valid NSW Working with Children Check for paid work, and an active ABN.Clear communication, professional conduct and reliable availability for in-person teaching in St Ives Chase.Teaching support and commitmentCamLoc provides teaching materials and training in its teaching approach.To support continuity and meaningful progress for our students, applicants must be able to commit to regular teaching for a minimum of 4 school terms.
