Our school provides an excellent learning environment for students where they can exceed in all learning areas and develop the skills required to be successful global citizens. Our school values of ‘Respect, Quality Teaching and Learning and Cooperation’ work alongside our vision ‘to create intellectually stretched, self-directed and powerful learners’.
These core elements of the school drive our work to support all students to achieve their personal best within a learning environment which is challenging, supportive and engaging.
An inquiry pedagogy approach is used to deliver the eight learning areas as outlined within the Australian Curriculum. Along with this, the General Capabilities within the Australian Curriculum equip our students with skills to live and work successfully in the twenty-first century.
A wide range of extra-curricula activities such as debating, STEM Robotics, SAPSASA, Tournament of Minds, Junior Primary Choir, Festival Choir, after school sport, school musicals, school bands, chess club and after school languages and art are offered. These enable students to develop specific skills and talents and to experience individual success.
