Job Summary
Our school is an independent specialist school for autistic young people. We have multi-age classes from Prep to Year 8 and a Year 9 and 10 class. Each class has up to 12 young people with a full-time teacher and Education Support Officer/Teacher Aide who make up the Collaborative Education Team (CET) for each class. Our High School classes operate on a model similar to our Junior School providing the consistency of the same Collaborative Education Team each day with some lesson swaps for particular Learning Area. Our specialist lessons are taught by our HPE/Wellbeing, Visual Arts, Music and Technologies teachers. Additional support is provided by our specialist support team consisting of our social worker, behaviour specialist and behaviour support assistants, Allied Health Assistant, Head of Teaching and Learning and Deputy Principal. The relief day is from 8:00am until 3:00pm.
