Muswellbrook High School is a high-achieving secondary school known for its supportive and thriving music faculty. Our students consistently excel in ensembles, performances, and examinations, and our staff work collaboratively to nurture musical talent at every level. We're looking for an enthusiastic educator to join our team on a part-time basis.

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our team three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday). The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality music lessons across the relevant year levels, and contribute to the continued success of our music program. 

Teachers with the flexibility and interest to also teach as a generalist in other subject areas are strongly encouraged to apply — this could be an excellent opportunity to build a broader teaching load within our school.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons in line with the curriculum
• Support and contribute to the school's music ensembles, performances, and events
• Collaborate with a supportive and high-achieving music faculty
• Monitor and report on student progress and achievement
• Where applicable, teach general classes in other subject areas outside your expertise
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations classroom environment
