Talent Focus is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Christian K–12 school in Western Sydney seeking a passionate and committed Secondary TAS Teacher to join their growing school community.

About the Role

The successful applicant will teach Years 7–12 TAS subjects within a supportive and collaborative secondary team. Experience teaching Stage 5 or 6 Design and Technology and/or Industrial Technology will be highly regarded.

The role suits a teacher who is passionate about engaging students through practical and innovative learning experiences while contributing positively to the broader life of the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated TAS programs across Years 7–12
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
• Use assessment and data to inform teaching practice
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students
• Maintain accurate student records and reporting requirements
• Contribute to pastoral care and co-curricular activities
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/carers, and leadership staff
• Participate in professional learning and school-wide initiatives

Essential Criteria

• Ability to teach Secondary TAS subjects
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Demonstrated commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school

Desirable

• Experience teaching Stage 5 or 6 Design and Technology and/or Industrial Technology
• Experience integrating ICT and contemporary teaching practices into the classroom
