Willoughby Public School is excited to invite applications for a qualified and/or experienced Special Education teacher to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role is within our (IM) Support Class, catering to students with mild intellectual disability who present with diverse learning needs.

About the Class:

• 8 students currently enrolled, spanning Years 4, 5, and 6
• Students predominantly working at Early Stage 1 (ES1) and Stage 1 levels
• Individual Learning Plans tailored to meet each student’s unique needs
• Supported by a skilled, full-time School Learning Support Officer (SLSO)
• Integration opportunities in mainstream classes aligned with students’ strengths and interests
• Inclusive and welcoming playground environment featuring mixed K-6 play spaces

Position Details:

• Part-time role, Thursdays and Fridays for the remainder of the school year
• Applicants must have the right to work through to the end of the school year
