School Support Officer Level 1
Marryatville Primary School is a category 7 school located in the Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide with a student population of 433 in reception to year 6. The school has a strong focus on student and staff wellbeing with a whole school commitment to positive education programs.
Marryatville Primary School are looking for enthusiastic SSO1 classroom support officers.
Role Description:
· Capacity to support students with challenging behaviours and diverse learning needs.
· Capacity to work 1:1 or in small groups with a focus on literacy and numeracy intervention
· School support officers are accountable to the School Business Manger
Essential Criteria:
· Ability to build positive relationships with staff, students and parents in a multi-cultural setting
· Ability to deliver prescribed intervention programs under limited supervision
· Demonstrate knowledge and ability to work with students with complex behaviour
· Ability to work up to 4 or 5 days per week
