Noumea Public School is a small school located in Western Sydney, with 31% of students from a non-English speaking background and 22% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Sport Teacher to deliver high-quality PE and sport programs for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.  The role is one day per week (Monday) with the option of adding additional days as RFF teacher if desired. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students across all stages. It would suit someone looking for part-time work such as a teacher currently on maternity leave, returning to work, or seeking a consistent single day each week. High school PDHPE teachers with an interest in primary sport are also encouraged to apply.

The role will include: 

• Teaching structured sport and PE lessons for students in Kindergarten to Year 6.
• Planning and delivering engaging, safe and inclusive physical activity programs that cater to a wide range of abilities.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff 

• Experience teaching sport, coaching or engaging students in physical activity.
• Confident working with students across a wide range of ages and abilities.
• Strong behaviour management, clear communication and a positive presence.
• Organised and able to plan purposeful, active lessons.
• Current NESA accreditation and Working With Children Check.
